【蓮弁文（れんべんもん）茶碗：時を超えた清浄の美】
この器の造形は、南北朝時代に仏教とともに伝来した「蓮華崇拝」に遡ります。当初は仏教の荘厳な供物器に多く見られた蓮弁の意匠ですが、宋代のミニマリズム美学を経て洗練され、余分な装飾を削ぎ落とした現在の凛とした姿へと定着しました。
茶道において蓮弁の形状は、その「上広下狭」の造りが香りを包み込むだけでなく、「泥より出でて染まらず」という歴史的背景が、茶道の精神である「和敬清寂」と深く共鳴します。玉（ぎょく）のように温潤な質感は茶湯本来の色を忠実に映し出し、茶席に静寂と高雅な趣を添えてくれる名器です。
