蔡如淵（ツァイ・ルユエン）は、「露露陶藝屋（Lulu Pottery）」の背後にいる作家であり、イラストレーション専攻を卒業後、陶芸の中に自身の情熱と居場所を見出しました。

イラストレーションのバックグラウンドを活かし、陶という素材に絵画的な表現を融合させることで、実用性と鑑賞性を併せ持つ作品を制作しています。器にそっと「可愛らしさ」を宿らせることで、日々の暮らしの中に小さな癒しをもたらし、使う人の心に残る童心を静かに呼び覚まします。

一つひとつの作品は、あえて完璧を目指さず、それぞれが異なる個性を持つ存在として生まれています。その姿はまるで生命のように佇み、不完全さこそが唯一無二の美しさとなり得ること、そしてそれこそが人が本来持つべき在り方であることを示唆しています。

Tsai Ju-Yuan is the artist behind Lulu Pottery. After graduating with a degree in illustration, she discovered her passion and sense of belonging through ceramics.

Drawing on her background in illustration, she integrates pictorial elements into ceramic forms, creating works that balance functionality with visual appeal. By gently infusing everyday vessels with a sense of playfulness and charm, her pieces bring moments of comfort to daily life, quietly reminding people of the childlike innocence within.

Each work embraces imperfection and individuality, existing as a unique presence of its own—almost like a living being. Through this, her practice suggests that imperfection can become a form of wholeness through uniqueness, reflecting a fundamental quality inherent in human nature.
