【ご使用・お手入れについて】

割れを防ぐため、加熱前に必ず乾いた布で底部の水分を拭き取ってください。
直火をご使用の際は、火力を弱火〜中火に調整し、底部に火が集中しないようご注意ください。
加熱後は自然に冷ましてから洗浄してください。急激な温度変化は破損の原因となります。
日常のお手入れは、スポンジやブラシで洗浄後、水気を拭き取り、風通しと日当たりの良い場所で十分に乾燥させてください。

【耐熱陶器と目止め処理について】

本品は耐熱陶器ですが、目止め処理は施されておりません。
陶土は天然の気孔構造を持つため、ご使用前に目止め処理を行うことをおすすめいたします。目止めを行うことで吸水性が抑えられ、安定したご使用が可能になります。

目止め処理を行わずにご使用いただくことも可能ですが、その場合は毎回ご使用後に必ず壺内の水を空にし、十分に乾燥させてください。長時間水を入れたままにすると、陶器の特性上、軽微な滲みが生じる場合がございます。

【目止め処理方法（初回使用前推奨）】

壺に水を満たし、4〜6時間ほど浸け置きします。

水を捨て、米の研ぎ汁、または少量の小麦粉を溶かした水を入れます。

弱火で加熱し、沸騰直前の状態を10〜15分ほど保ちます。

自然に冷ました後、水を捨て、清水ですすぎ、十分に乾燥させてください。

The handle is made from aromatic wood. Please keep a safe distance from direct flame, as excessive heat may cause natural resin to seep from the wood. When used at an appropriate distance, a gentle natural fragrance may be released.

Use & Care Instructions

Before heating, wipe the bottom with a dry cloth to remove any moisture and prevent cracking.
When using over direct flame, adjust the fire to low or medium heat and avoid concentrating heat on one area.
After heating, allow the vessel to cool naturally before cleaning to prevent damage from sudden temperature changes.
For daily care, wash with a sponge or brush, dry thoroughly, and air-dry in a well-ventilated, sunlit area.

About Heat-Resistant Ceramic & Sealing (Metsudome) Treatment

This vessel is made of heat-resistant ceramic and has not undergone sealing (metsudome) treatment.
Due to the natural porous structure of clay, we recommend performing a sealing treatment before first use to reduce water absorption and improve long-term stability.

It is also possible to use the vessel without sealing treatment. However, in this case, please be sure to empty all remaining water after each use and dry thoroughly. Prolonged water storage may cause minor seepage, which is a natural characteristic of ceramic materials and not a defect.

Recommended Sealing Treatment (Before First Use)

Fill the vessel with clean water and leave it for 4–6 hours.

Discard the water and refill with rice washing water or water mixed with a small amount of flour.
Heat gently until just before boiling and maintain for 10–15 minutes.
Allow to cool naturally, discard the water, rinse with clean water, and dry thoroughly.
Each piece is individually handmade by an artist or craftsman.
