発送前に、点炭器の通電テストを3分間行いました。
初めてご使用になる場合や、長期間お使いでなかった後に通電した際、ゴムや焦げたようなにおいが感じられることがあります。これは、加熱部に付着した微細なほこりや炭の粉、油分などが加熱によって焼けること、または内部の耐熱素材が熱によりわずかに揮発することによる一時的な現象で、異常ではございません。ご使用の前に、風通しの良い場所で3分ほど空焚きしていただくと、においは自然に薄れます。使用中に煙や異音、プラグの異常な発熱などがなければ、製品は正常に作動しています。加熱部の炭粉やほこりをやわらかい布で軽く拭き取り、通気口をふさがないようにご注意ください。においや煙が続く場合は、すぐに電源をお切りになり、コードや底部のゴム部分の状態をご確認ください。適切にお手入れいただくことで、点炭器は穏やかな火のぬくもりとともに、長くご愛用いただけます。

ご注意：写真の木柄付き炭架は、オリーブ炭・クルミ炭など専用の支架です。ご使用にならない時は、点炭器と一緒に加熱しないようお願いいたします。製品寿命を損なうおそれがあります。

Before shipping, the charcoal igniter was tested by powering it on for 3 minutes.
When used for the first time or after a long period of disuse, you may notice a slight rubber or burnt smell. This is a temporary phenomenon caused by the burning of fine dust, charcoal powder, or oil on the heating element, or by the mild evaporation of heat-resistant materials inside. It is completely normal and not a defect. Before use, please perform a dry run for about 3 minutes in a well-ventilated area—the smell will naturally fade. During operation, if there is no smoke, unusual noise, or abnormal heating of the plug, the product is functioning normally. To maintain good condition, gently wipe off any dust or charcoal residue from the heating area with a soft cloth, and make sure the air vents are not blocked. If a strong smell or smoke persists, immediately turn off the power and check the cord and the rubber part at the bottom. With proper care, this igniter will provide gentle warmth and long-lasting service.

Note: The wooden-handled charcoal stand shown in the photo is designed specifically for olive charcoal and walnut charcoal. Please do not heat it together with the igniter when not in use, as this may shorten the product’s lifespan.
